A Recipe for Avocado Pesto

The addition of avocados to this dairy-free pesto recipe gives it a velvety texture and a richness that is reminiscent of cheese.

How to Present Pesto with Avocado Make bruschetta by spreading avocado pesto over baguette slices, adding it to roasted vegetables,

or using it as a healthy alternative to mayonnaise on your sandwich. You can also use it to make a pesto to use with pasta or zucchini noodles.

How Can You Prevent the Pesto made with Avocados from Turning Brown? By pressing a piece of plastic wrap firmly on the surface of the avocado pesto, you may prevent it from browning.

The pesto can then be stored in the refrigerator for up to five days in an airtight container.
