Robert Downey Jr. received the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Lewis Strauss in Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer,

 capping off one of Hollywood's most endearing peaks, collapses, and comebacks.

Downey Jr. became one of the youngest Saturday Night Live cast members after his Weird Science costar Anthony Michael Hall helped him get there,
